Concept of Operations
Welcome to Alibi Reviews, where only one snob reviews the music, modern and pre-modern. I am not beholden to one genre of music, so you will find anything from cool jazz to lounge music to electronica to indie rock to hip hop, and so forth and so on. The rating system should be pretty self explanatory. It's all arbitrary really. You will be best off to read the text of the review and decide for yourself whether the album is worth a listen. You may ask yourself, "What makes this goof ball any different from every other music reviewer out there?" My response to you is, absolutely nothing, but what's wrong with a little perspective?

CORRECTION: Modern Guilt
It appears that the drum sequencing I praised on the track "Chemtrails" by Beck were not the work of DJ Danger Mouse after all. A closer reading of the liner notes has revealed to me that the drums sounded so realistic because they were, actually, real drums played by contributer Joey Waronker. Sorry Danger Mouse, Shadow still holds the title.
